About the DSAT Reading & Writing Test
The Digital SAT Reading & Writing (R&W) section measures your ability to read, analyze, and revise texts by integrating comprehension and writing skills. The test is fully digital, adaptive, and more streamlined than the traditional paper SAT.
Total Questions
- 54 Questions are given (Module 1 - 27 questions, Module 2 - 27 questions)
- The test is adaptive: your performance on Module 1 affects the difficulty of Module 2.
Time
- 64 minutes total, not per section.
- Module 1 - 27 questions, 32 minutes.
- Module 2 - 27 questions, 32 minutes.
Format
- Short Passage (50-150 words) or slightly longer ones (~150-200words)
- One question per passage (no long passage with 10+ questions like the paper SAT)
- Some Passages may include tables, charts, or graphics for data interpretation
